Rajasee Silk Portrait Saree ₹31,000.00

Aparajita (अपराजिता)

₹32,000.00

Woven in the grace of Maheshwari silk, this masterpiece celebrates one of Maharashtra’s most underappreciated yet breathtaking wonders – the Kopeshwar Temple of Khidrapur, Kolhapur.

The saree is adorned with six intricate hand-painted panels, each narrating a story inspired by the Swarga Mandap and Sabha Mandap of this 12th-century architectural marvel. The Swarga Mandap, an open-sky circular pavilion with 48 carved pillars, symbolizes heaven itself, while the Sabha Mandap—the majestic assembly hall—features its grand entrance adorned with Goddess Saraswati above the doorway, Kalash motifs, and ten beautifully ornamented dwarapalas (five on each door panel). Alongside, the saree celebrates the temple’s auspicious motifs like Makar, Mayur, and Purna Kumbha—symbols of prosperity, fertility, and abundance that embody the spirit of sacred tradition. One of the rarest inspirations translated onto the saree is the first meeting of Shri Ram and Hanuman ji, a captivating stone relief from the temple that immortalizes this timeless moment of devotion and dharma.

Complementing the grandeur of these hand-paintings, the saree comes with a beautiful blouse piece richly adorned in heavy Aari work, making it not just an attire but a heritage canvas.

This drape is more than a garment—it is a tribute to Maharashtra’s hidden gem of Chalukyan architecture, preserving in silk and brushstrokes what time has almost forgotten.
