Shaalinee (शालिनी)

Here is a beautiful tusser silk Shaalinee saree. House of Rajasee’s design team has come up with some new experiments with this saree. The whole design concept is inspired from a temple in a small village Devgadh in Uttar Pradesh. The temple has an amazing mural-like ceiling and wall full of sculpture. The stone sculptures carry a story of Lord Vishnu’s avatar. One can appreciate Shaalinee’s pallu which has a painting of Sheshashaayee Vishnu with Laxmi. The colour combination of the saree is really adorable.

Along with the paintings on the pallu, Shaalinee has Zardoji wok motifs (aari work embroidery) near the neckline. This would enhance the beauty of the entire design and needless to say, the wearer too!
