At House of Rajasee, we don’t just make products; we honor a legacy. We believe that art shouldn't just sit in a frame - it should be the saree you drape, the bag you carry, and the lamp that lights up your room. It should be lived with.
Our Creations:
Every piece is a canvas. Because our work is handcrafted, no two pieces are ever exactly the same - just like the people who wear them.
About us :
In a world dominated by the cold precision of machines, House of Rajasee is a return to the warmth of the human hand. Inspired by Ancient Indian architecture and sculpture our brand is built on a simple, honest bond between the maker and the wearer.
What We Stand For
Our Vision :
Our dream is to build a space where India’s beautiful past feels right at home in your present. We don’t believe heritage belongs in a box in the attic; we believe it belongs in your laughter, your work, and your quietest moments.
We invite you to slow down.
In the rush of the modern world, we want to bring back the elegance of the "handmade"- not just for weddings or festivals, but for the simple magic of your everyday life. Whether it’s the comfort of a hand-loomed thread or the story in a hand-painted stroke, we want you to carry a piece of our history as you write your own.
Founder’s Story:
From a Mother’s Love to Your Home.
"Growing up, I didn't just see my mother 'do' art; I saw her live it. Whether it was the steady rhythm of her embroidery needle or the grace in her daily discipline, she found poetry in the simplest of chores. She taught me that beauty isn't a luxury for special occasions - it’s a way of being.
As a Doctorate in Modern Marathi Poetry and a professor at SNDT Women’s University, my life has been a dance between the wisdom of books and the restless creativity of young minds. To truly understand the soul of our heritage, I immersed myself in a course on Indian Aesthetics, diving deep into the world of ancient sculpture and temple art. It was there that I learned how a cold stone could be made to breathe, much like how a simple fabric can be made to tell a story.
My PhD taught me the power of the written word, but my students taught me the power of the living expression. Being surrounded by them keeps me young; it reminds me that while our roots are deep, our branches must always reach for something new.
I’ve always felt that art shouldn't stay trapped in classrooms or libraries. It should be carried and owned in the stories we live every day. House of Rajasee is my way of bringing that rhythm to you. It is where our shared history meets a new, living voice."
