Vasundhara (वसुंधरा)

Vasundhara is a tender green Maheshwari silk saree from our ‘Vatsala Collection’. It has a few cotton threads woven with it. And there’s an amazing combination of green and slight blue. Considering this combination, its blouse is in a very different blue shade to make a classic contrast. Team Rajasee has a done a new experiment here. The Lamani style work embroidery is there on the right sleeve of the blouse and the pallu as well. The design on the golden pallu is inspired by various sculptures. Maya, the mother of Bhagwan buddha is painted there. We can feel the determination, the attitude of a mother having her baby with her. In another painting, a mother-to-be is seen. She is dreaming about her baby. She wants her would be baby to be strong, brave and what not! And in the last painting of the panel, a pregnant woman is lying on the bed. Her eyes are half-closed. All these details can be experienced in the whole design.
